Apple Crumble and Homemade Ice Cream

Depois de um bom merecido fim de semana longo vim cá actualizar isto.
Na sexta, estive com uma amiga e ajudei-lhe a arrumar o guarda-fato num sistema de cores e o mesmo fiz aos sapatos dela.

After a well deserved long weekend I came here to actualize this.
On friend, I spent the day with a mate and helped her organizer her closet with a color scheme and did the same with her shoes.

E ontem, no sábado, decidi fazer um Apple Crumble com gelado caseiro. Encontrei a receita do  apple crumble nesse link e a do gelado neste link.

And yesterday, I made an Apple Crumble with home made ice cream. I found the apple crumble recipe here and the ice cream here.


São muito simples de se fazerem e não requer muito tempo.

Both of the recipies are very easy to make and it doesn't take a long time.

Pré-aqueça o forno a 180 C/ 350 F / 4 no forno a gás.

Pre-heat oven at180 C / 350 F / Gas 4 

Para o Apple Crumble só 'e necessário
Meio quilo de  macas,
1 colher de sopa de farinha
Meia chávena de açúcar castanho
Canela a gosto.

For the Apple Crumble you'll need
Half a kilo of apples
1 Tbs of Flour
1/2 Cup of brown sugar
Ground Cinammon 

Descasca-se as macas, cortam-se aos pedaços e junta-se a farinha, açúcar e a canela.

Unpeel the apple, cut in cubes, put on a bowl, add the flour, sugar and cinnamon.
Se quiser optar por um trago de álcool, pode regar a fruta com brandy, conhaque, whisky ou bourbon.

If you're seeking for a tinny taste of alcohol, feel free to soak the fruit into brandy, cognac, whiskey or bourbon.

E para o " Crumble " precisa de
2 chavenas e meia de farinha.
1 chavena de açúcar castanho
200 gramas de manteiga, cortada em cubos.

For the Crumble it will be necessary
2 cups and a half of flour.
1 Cup of brown sugar
200 g of butter, cutted into cubes.

Junte a farinha e o açúcar e misture, e vá deitando a manteiga ate a mistura toda ficar semelhante a migalhas de pão.
 

On a bowl add  the flour, sugar and mix it and toss the butter until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.


De seguida, ira untar o recipiente, que possa ir ao forno, em que ira servir esta sobremesa, ponha a maca e por cima ponha o crumble .
E ponha no forno durante 40 a 45 minutos.
Afterwards, grease a container, that is oven proof, and put the apple mixture and on top put the crumble.
Put on the oven for about 40 to 45 minutes.







E para o gelado.
Sera necessario :
2 vagens de baunilha ou 1 colher de sopa de essencia de baunilha.
500 ml de natas.
1/2 chavena de acucar.
3 gemas de ovo.

For the ice-cream
2 vanilla ponds or 1 tbs of vanilla essence.
500ml of Cream ( or dobble cream )
1/2 Cup of suga
3 Egg yolk

Raspe as sementes da baunillha e ponha as vagens nas natas e leve a ferver. De seguida adicione acucar e mexa ate o acucar se dissolver.

Entretanto, bata as gemas e ponha devagar na mistura das natas.

Deite esta mistura num recipiente que possa ir ao congelador e se quiser, adicione as sementes de baunilha e ponha no congelador.

Halve the vanilla pods lengthways and scrape out the seeds. Add the pods to the cream and bring to the boil, then add the sugar and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Mean while, whisk the yolks and and slowly mix into the cream mixture.
Pour the mixture into a freeze free container, and if you choose to, add the vanilla seeds and freeze it.

'E mesmo bom , e realmente acabou RAPIDO aqui em casa. Aconselho a comer quente com o gelado.

Its very delicous, and it finished SO FAST!! I advice to eat it while hot with the ice-cream.

Na sexta feira estava a ver TV e decidi ver o que estava a dar na Fashion Tv. E encontrei um desfile da Semana da Moda de Londres e ADOREI!! E decidi partilhar aqui no blog.


 
As minhas preferidas | My favourites


Percebi que a colecção era inspirada nos anos 50. E que houve uma grande influencia de tons femininos e de padrões floridos e geométricos  Adorei a combinação com as sandálias que se usaram, deu um aspecto de frescura e assentou lindamente com as indumentarias. 
Realmente, acho que poderia ver estas vestes a serem utilizadas em varias cidades do Mundo inteiro. Não 'e nada demasiado extravagante, parece ser bastante confortável e pratico para o dia a dia ou para ambientes mais requintados.
A maior parte desta colecção são vestidos e saias. E a própria passarele estava vestida a rigor, com um padrão que tinha nuvens brancas e rosa com um fundo azul

Esta colecção 'e da House of Holland, do designer Henry Holland, nascido em Ramsbottom, Inglaterra e formou-se posteriormente em London College of Printing. E já era estilista antes de criar a sua própria marca. Henry Holland desenha para mulheres com uma mente estética e gosta de ver as mulheres a usarem as suas criações a sua maneira.

On friday while watching TV, I found a fashion show from London Fashion Week and I LOVED IT! So, I decided to share it on the blog.

I realized that the collection was inspired on the 50's and that there was an influence on female colors and geometric and floral patterns. I really loved the sandals the models wore, it gave a fresh look and looked amazing with the clothes.
Seriously, I think I could see these collection on the streets everywhere. Its nothing too extravagant, seems very confortable and pratic for an everyday ocasion of for something more fancy. And its quite trendy.
This collection has more skirts and dresses than shorts and pants. The catwalk was also dressed to match the collection. It had white and pink clouds and a blue background.

This collection is from House of Holland by Henry Holland, born in Ramsbottom, England and graduated from London College of Printing. He was already a stylist before creating his own label.
Henry Holland says that his ideal clients are  “ (..) London girl’s aesthetic in mind and love to see girls wearing my designs in their own unique way.”

D.I.Y Cabinet storage

Olaaaaa :D

Eu tenho o problema muito serio chamado desorganização e procrastinacao, ou seja, desarrumo tudo e mais alguma coisa e adiu a parte da arrumação, o que 'e péssimo. E esse era o caso do meu armário da casa-de-banho, onde deixo a minha maquilhagem e produtos de higiene.
Então, no Domingo, estava no Pinterest e no We <3 it a ver D.I.Y  e acabei parando em arrumações. E lembrei-me que tinha que começar a dar um jeito ao quarto e a casa-de banho. E lembrei-me também que tinha umas caixas no meu quarto que so tinham quinquilharia e decidi deitar fora o desnecessário e usar as caixas para organizar devidamente o meu armário de casa-de-banho.
Mas como as caixas eram meio feinhas, decidi personaliza-las. E aproveitei para deitar fora umas revistas de banda desenhada que tenho HÁ TRECULOS e sei que não vou ler mais. E numa outra caixa, decidi pintar e forrar com uma criação própria.


Este 'e o material necessario para este projecto. 1 Tesoura, Caixas ( inclusive de sapatos ), Fita-cola, revistas de banda desenhada ( ou qualquer, pode utilizar artigos, manchetes, fotos, o que quiser ), Papel plastificante.
 The supplies are : 1 Scissor, Boxes
( even shoe boxes ), Tape, Comics - or any other magazine, you can also use titles, articles or pictures, the way you decide to decorate your own boxes ), Plasticize.

I have a serious condition on organizing my stuff and I do procrastinate a lot, which means, I make a huge mess and I procrastinate the organization, which its really bad. So, my bathroom cabinet, is the mess itself, I leave my make-up, hair supplies and cleaning products.
So, on Sunday, while on Pinterest and We <3 it looking through some D.I.Y projects, I ended up on storage articles and projects. And I realized that I had to tidy my room and bathroom. And I remembered that I had some boxes where I kept my bauble, so I decided to throw away the useless and use those boxes to organize my cabinet.
But, the boxes where quite ugly, so I decided to personalize them, and I also used this old comic books, that I have since FOREVER and that I do know that I won't read them again, and decorate a few boxes.


A minha favorita 'e a de padrão leopardo, mas deu muita trabalheira. Mas o processo 'e muito simples. 'E só usar-se um papel de prenda ou papel de parede e forrar a tampa da caixa. Mas como não tinha, tive que pintar e ainda por cima não tinha pincéis, então tive que utilizar esponjas. Primeiro pintei a folha de papel na cor de fundo a minha escolha, e depois desenhei o padrão de leopardo, ( que aprendi a fazer aqui ) e pintei as manchas. Enquanto esperava que a folha secasse, pintei a parte de baixo da caixa de castanho. De seguida, forrei a tampa e  passei papel plastificante, para evitar rasgar ou molhar a caixa. Usei esta caixa para por as pranchas e o secador.

The one I liked the most was the leopard print, but gave me a lot of work. But its quite easy to do it. You just need to use a printed paper or a wallpaper and cover the top of the box. But, I didn't had any, so I had to paint my own and I didn't even had brushes, which meant that I had to paint the WHOLE thing with make up brushes.
First, I painted the paper with the main color, in my case was beige, then I draw the leopard pattern ( that I learned here ) and painted the spots. While I was waiting for the painting to dry, I painted the rest of the box brown, to match the spots. Afterwards, I covered the top and used a plasticize to protect the paper from tearing or wetting.I used this box to put my straighteners and blow drier.  








Mas as mais simples de fazer, foram as de banda desenhada. Arrancam-se as paginas e cortam-se os quadradinhos que se quer usar, mede-se consoante a caixa, cola-se com fita cola e forra-se com papel plastificante a medida.
A mais pequena usei para por os batons e glosses. Umas das medias usei para por os rimeis e a outra para por as bases e a maior  usei para por as paletes todas.
E ficou tudo muito organizado. 'E só manter a organização e guardar sempre as coisas no seu devido lugar.

The easiest where the comics. You need to tear up the pages and cut the comics and measure according to the box, stick the comics with tape and use a plasticize to protect the comics from any accident.
I used the smallest to put my lipsticks and lip glosses, one of the mediums to put the mascaras and another one to put the foundations, compacts and concealers and the biggest, I used to put my make up palettes.
Everything was very tidy. I just need to keep the stuff on place and put everything back in place.

Usei esta lata de Coca-Cola para por os pincéis que uso com mais frequência. Com um abre latas tirei a parte de cima, e com uma lixa, lixei as partes com que me podia cortar. Achei bastante original e uma boa forma de reciclagem e agora já não tenho que andar a procura dos pincéis por todo lado.



I also used this Coca-Cola can to put the make-up brushes I use more often. With a can opener I removed the upper part and with a sandpaper I sanded any possible place that could cut me. I thought it was different and a good way to recycle. And now I do not have to look everywhere for my brushes.












Este 'e o efeito final. O antes e o depois. Estava incrivelmente desarrumado.
Entao, usei os 2 cestos que estavam na prateleira de baixo, na maior pus os meus produtos para o cabelo, como champos, condicionador, cremes e gotas, na menor pus os meus utensilios do dia-a-dia como perfumes, desodorizante, cremes e cotonetes.
E pus 4 caixas em baixo tudo muito organizadinho com a lata dos pinceis no cantinho.

Esta manha foi muito facil arrumar-me e voltei a guardar tudinho no lugar :D :D 

 This is the result. The before and after.It was very messy.
I used the 2 baskets that were on the bottom row.On the biggest, I used to put my hair products, like shampoos, conditioner, oil and cream. And I used the smallest to put my everyday products, like perfume, deodorant, moisturizer and Q-tips.
And I putted the 4 other 4 boxes on the bottom shelf and the Coca-Cola can on the little corner.

This morning, it was very easy getting ready and I stored everything again on the boxes.

Chocolate Chips Blondies

Ultimamente tenho tido uma enorme vontade de estar na cozinha a experimentar receitas novas. Ha semanas fiz um mac&cheese extra cremoso, na quarta fiz pizza e hoje, decidi fazer Blondies.
Blondies são uma variação dos Brownies, que em vez de levarem cacau, levam açúcar castanho. Geralemente sao confundidos com os Brownies de chocolate brownies, mas estes geralmente não levam chocolate, a nao ser que ponha pedaços de chocolate, como eu fiz. Mas sempre pode alternar a receita e em vez de por os pedaços de chocolate, pode por bagas, alperces secas ou nozes.
Encontrei a receita aqui. E segui exactamente a letra. E realmente, os blondies sao OPTIMOS!! Comi muitos logo que sairam do forno.

Latelly I've been feeling like cooking and baking in order to try new things. Couple weeks ago, I did a very cheesy and creamy mac&cheese, on wedesnday I did pizza and today I decided to make Blondies.
Blondies resemble chocolate brownies, but unlike brownies, blondies do not have chocolate, and have brown sugar instead of chocolate. Blondies are also mistaken with white chocolate, but like I said before, blondies do not have chocolate, unless you decide to put chocolate chips, like I did. But you are completely free to put berries, chocolate chips, dried peaches, nuts or whatever you think would taste good on your blondies.
I found this magnific recipe here. And I followed the exact recipe. And the blondies are GREAT! I had a ton as soon they were out of the oven

Aqui esta a receita e os ingredientes | Here's the recipe and the ingredients.
2 Ovos 2 Eggs
1 chavena e meia de acucar castanho                                        1 and 1/2 cups of brown sugar                              
1 chavena e meia de farinha1 and 1/2 cups of flour
Meia chavena de manteiga derretida  1/2 cup of melted butter

1 chavena de pedacos de chocolate
1 colher de cha de fermento em po1 cup of chocolate chips1 ts of baking powder
 1 pitada de sal |1 pinch of sal
1 colher de cha de essencia de baunilia | 1 ts of vanilla essence

Receita | Recipe
1. Mixture o acucar, a manteiga, os ovos e a baunilha. | In a bowl combine the sugar, butter, eggs and the vanilla essence.

Noutra tigela mixture a farinha, o fermento em po e o sal. | Combine the flour, baking powder and salt.

De seguida junte a farinha a mistura do acucar, ovos e manteiga e misture ate ter uma massa homogenea. | Then, add the dry mix to the sugar mixture and stir all together.

Adicione os pedacos de chocolate a mistura. Mexa mais um bocado. Ponha na forma e deixe no forno a tempratura media de 180 graus durante 15-20 minutos. | Add the chips to the mixture. Stir a bit.Put on the baking pan and let it bake in the oven at 180 degrees celsius for about 15 to 20 minutes.

 Esta 'e a receita pronta. Estavam MUITISSIMO bons. E espero que estejam tao bons quanto estes.

Pink and Gold eye Make-up

Desculpem a ausência  mas 'e que tenho estado ocupada com as aulas e isso, então  não tenho tido muito tempo de vir cá ter e ir actualizando isto.

Bom, hoje vou publicar uma maquilhagem que eu fiz sozinha do nada, simplesmente apeteceu-me. E para mim 'e algo um bocado diferente, pois não costumo usar cores vivas, que 'e o caso do cor de rosa. Eu usaria esta maquilhagem num evento mais requintada, ou numa festa a noite. Pode-se também alternar as cores por uma outra a sua escolha. E para os lábios  usaria um batom cor de pele, nude ou um rosa, laranja ou bege muito claro, pois os olhos estão ofuscantes.

Caso queira seguir os meus passos, não tem que utilizar os mesmos produtos que os meus, mas os que eu realmente recomendo são a base, pois 'e oil free  e tem um óptimo nível de  coverage e isso agrada-me imenso e os rimeis. Eu sou MALUCA por rimeis. Tenho por ai uns 15. A minha marca preferida 'e a 
Maybelline.

Passo a passo | Step by step

Primeiro : Limpe a pele. Ponha a base e o corrector | First : Clean your skin, put the foundation on and the concealer.

Segundo : Ponha a sombra dourada desde o inicio do olho ate metade da palpebra | Second : Put the gold eye shadow from the inner corner until half of the eye lid.

Depois : Ponha a sombra rosa da metade da pálpebra ate ao fim da palpebra e misture um bocado | Then : Put the pink shadow from the middle of the eye lid until the outer corner and blend a bit.

De seguida : Ponha o eye liner  ao longo da pálpebra | Later : Put the eye liner following the lash line

Por ultimo : Ponha o rimel ou rimeis ate ter o efeito desejado. Ou entao, pestanas falsas. | Last : Put the mascara as much as you desires or wear falsies .

Sorry for being so M.I.A, but I have been quite busy with school and stuff, so I haven't got the time to came here.

Well, today, I will post a make-up that I did it on my own out of the blue, I just felt like it. For me its quite diferent, because I don't wear bright colors, like pink. I would wear this make-up for a fancy event, or a party or to go clubbing. You can chose any other color your choice. And on the lips, I would wear a nude lipstick, or a light pink, beige or a pale orange lipstick. 

Just in case you would like to follow my steps, you do not have to wear the same products as I do, but I do recomend the foundation, its very light, has great coverage and its oil free, and that pleases me a lot, and I also advice the mascaras. I am CRAZY for mascaras. I have about 15. And my fave brand its Maybelline.
