Recentemente o contorno da cara começou a popularizar-se as pessoas começaram a procurar como fazer., então decidi explicar como fazer e o seu objetivo. Usa-se esta técnica para realçar o melhor das nossas faces, usando uma cor mais escura e uma mais clara para dar sombra e luz ao nosso rosto. Para melhor resultado dever ser feito de acordo com o formato da sua face. Eu pessoalmente não gosto muito do contorno porque acho que fico com excesso de base, por isso prefiro espalhar a base de forma uniforme depois com pó mate e blush realço o que acho necessário. Use esta imagem para ver que tipo de contorno deve fazer para o seu tipo de cara.

Recently face contour became popular and people started to look for how to do it, so I decided to explain how to do it and the reason why its used. This technique its used to highlight the best from our faces, using a darker color to give more shadow and a lighter one to highlight the face. For better results it should be done according to the face type. I personally don't like contouring because I feel that I have too much foundation, so I'd rather put the foundation evenly and then with a matte powder and blush highlight what I think its necessary. Primeiro comecei por por corretor de olheiras nas minhas olheiras e manchas que tenho no rosto, Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer - Estee Lauder, depois pus a base mais clara, HD FOUNDATION Invisible Cover Foundation - Make Up Forever na testa, queixo, parte de cima do lábio e parte da frente do nariz e  pus  a base mais escura, Hello Flawless oxygen wow - Benefit, nas extremidades da testa, lados do nariz e parte de baixo das bochechas e por fim espalhei tudo. É importante que ao espalhar a base faça em movimentos descendentes, porque caso tenha penugem facial não se note.



First I started by putting concealer on my  under eyes and the spots on my face,Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer - Estee Lauder,  then  I putted the lightest shade of foundation,HD Foundation Invisible Cover Foundation - Make Up Forever,  on my chin, forehead, upper lip and front nose and the I applied the darkest foundation, Hello Flawless oxygen wow - Benefit, on the sides of forehead and nose, and under my cheeks and I finally spread it. Its important to spread it going down to avoid peach skin showing too much.

Depois da base, passei para os olhos, onde pus corretor na pálpebra como primer, Erase paste - Benefit, e espalhei. Ao contrário da maior parte dos tutoriais este começa dos cantos externos dos olhos para os cantos internos. O próximo passo é opcional, depende da sua capacidade em por sombras, pus fita cola no canto dos olhos, tal como aqui, pinte um bocado do seu dedo indicador com lápis preto e pinte os cantos externos dos olhos e depois ponha Blackheart, ou outra sombra roxa escura por cima donde pintou com os dedos.

After foundation, I went to the eyes, where I putted concealer on the eye lid as primer, Erase paste - Benefit. Unlike most tutorials this one starts from the outer corners to the inner corners. The next step is optional, it depends on your abilities to put eye shadow, I putted tape on the corners, just like here, paint a bit of your fingertips with black khol and paint the outer corner of your eyes and the put Blackheart, or any other dark purple shadow on top of where you painted with your fingers.

O próximo passo é por Liar, ou outra cor semelhante, no meio das pálpebras e misture-a com a sombra escura, e nos cantos internos ponha Dust, ou qualquer outro rosa claro cintilante. De seguida ponha uma sombra clara por baixo das sobrancelhas, Strange. Lembre-se de por na parte de baixo dos olhos as sombras, ponha de forma a acompanhar a parte de cima. Depois de por as sombras, ponha lápis branco na linha d'água.
Para as sombras e lápis  usei : Mac Eye Khol ( Fascinating & Smolder ), Naked 3 - Urban Decay 

The next step its put Liar, or any color similar, on the middle of the eye lid and blend it with the darker shade and in the inner corners put Dust, or another sparkly light pink. Then put a lighter shadow on your brow bone, Strange. Remember to put eye shadow on your bottom lash line according to the work on the upper lid. After the eye shadows, put  white khol on the water line.
For the Eye shadows and khols I used : Mac Eye Khol ( Fascinating & Smolder ), Naked 3 - Urban Decay









Para finalizar os olhos, passe uma linha fina de  eye liner por cima da linha das pestanas e ponha rímel nas pestanas de cima e de baixo ou pestanas falsas. E os olhos já esão. Estas sombras dão para qualquer evento, tanto para uma saída à noite ou para uma cerimónia, ou então para um encontro.
Usei  Sephora Long Lasting Eyeliner High Precision Brush, Colossal Mascara - Maybelline, The Falsies Mascara - Maybelline  e Bottom Lash Mascara - Clinique.







To finish the eyes, make a fine line with eye liner on top of the lash line and put mascara on both bottom and upper lashes, or fake lashes. The eye are done. This look can be used to any event, either a night out, a ceremony, or even a date.
I used  Sephora Long Lasting Eyeliner High Precision Brush, Colossal Mascara - Maybelline, The Falsies Mascara - Maybelline  e Bottom Lash Mascara - Clinique.













De volta a face, recentemente comecei a usar mais blush e o que mais uso é o Coralista - Benefit, mencionado nesta publicação, gosto imenso deste blush pelo brilho que dá e o facto de não ficar muito marcado, passei blush onde situam-se os ossos das minhas bochechas e pus pó mate,Multi-use powder foundation - Make Up Forever, exatamente onde pus a base mais escura quando fiz o contorno e depois passei um pó compacto mate mais claro na minha zona T para evitar excesso de brilhos, usei o 8 hour matifying pressed powder - Sephora. E para finalizar usei o batom Half 'n Half da MAC, pode também usar outro tom, mas de preferência de um tom neutro para fazer contraste com os olhos.

Back to the face, recently I started to use more blush and the one I wear the most is  Coralista - Benefit, mentioned on this post, I really like this blush for the glow and the fact that its not very strong, its subtle, I putted blush on my cheek bones and put mate powder,  Multi-use powder foundation - Make Up Forever, exactly where I've putted the darkest shadow of foundation and then I passed a lighter compact powder on my T-Zone to avoid glowing, I used 8 hour matifying pressed powder - Sephora. And to finish  I used Half 'n Half lipstick from MAC, you can also use another color,but chose a nude tone to contrast with the eyes.

Decidi começar a publicar sobre artigos que mais usei no mês e dar a minha opinião sobre eles.

I decided to start posting about my favorite articles of the month and give my opinion on them.

Como em Moçambique faz imenso calor no verão e é super húmido, não usei muita maquilhagem, mas a pouca que usei ganhou pontos nos meus artigos preferidos.

Since in Mozambique the weather is extremely hot and very humid, I did not wore so much make up as usual, but the few stuff I did used gained points on my list of favorite articles.

A minha pele é mista e tem tendência a ser oleosa na '' zona T '', ou seja testa, nariz e queixo. E para evitar que ela reaja mal com a base, usei maioritariamente Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. Que é fantástica. Uma amiga minha deu-me e gostei imenso do produto. É seco, não deixa a pele a brilhar muito ( mate ), tem uma boa cobertura, não é necessário usar muito do produto e a melhor parte, é que deixa-me com uma boa cor.

I have complexioned skin and its oily on the ' T area ', which means, forehead, nose and chin. E to avoid it to break out with the foundation, I used a lot Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. Which I find it to be great. A friend of mine gave it to me and I really liked this product. Its quite dry, my skin doesn't shine that much, which means its matte, has a great coverage, you don't need too much product and the best part is it gives me a sun kissed color.

Como mencionei antes, onde vivo faz muito calor! E quando digo muito calor refiro-me a temperaturas que circundam entre os 30 graus celsius aos 40. E sempre necessário manter-me hidratada. E em fevereiro usei com alguma frequência o batom de cieiro Maybelline Baby Lips. Promete 8 horas de hidratação, lábios mais suaves em uma semana, e tenho que dizer que em duas aplicações sinto os meus lábios como novos. Simplesmente adoro esta linha da Maybelline.

Like I mention before, where I live its really HOT! And when I say really hot, I mean 30 degrees to 40 degrees. And its crucial for me to hydrated. And during February I used quite a lot Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm.It says that it moisturizes for 8 hours, smooth lips within a week and I have to say that in just 2 uses I can feel my lips like new. I just love this line from Maybelline.

Creio que quase toda gente já sabe que eu sou LOUCA por rímeis e ter as pestanas o mais compridas, grossas e volumosas possíveis. E a minha escolha deste mês foi High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara da Clinique. Tem a escova grande e distribui devidamente o produto, espalhando por todas as pestanas. Uma camada e *BAM* pestanas LONGAS, VOLUMOSAS E GROSSAS! Experimentei a primeira vez num stand da Clinique, e fui a uma loja da Clinique e não tinham, e fiz todos possíveis para voltar ao primeiro stand deles e comprei este rimel, e adoro-o. Uso-o quase sempre que posso.

I think that everyone already knows how CRAZY I am for mascaras and having my lashes super long, thick and voluminous. And my choice of the month was High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara from Clinique. The brush is quite big and it spreads the product very well through all the lashes. Just one coat and *BAM* LONG, VOLUMINOUS AND THICK lashes! I tried for the first time on a certain Clinique stand and then went to a Clinique store and they didn't had it, I did my best to go back to the first stand and get the mascara. I love it and I wear it pretty much every time.


Outro artigo de que gostei imenso é Divine Night Nail Lacquer da M.A.C em 'Gadabout girl'. Este verniz foi-me sugerido pela senhora da M.A.C, gostei imenso de vê-lo nela e não resisti. É uma cor forte e escura, mas discreta a sua maneira. Creio eu que é perfeita para o inverno, mas pode-se adaptar a qualquer altura do ano, é uma questão de saber combinar o verniz com a indumentária.

Another article that I really like is Divine Night Nail Lacquer from M.A.C 'Gadbout girl'. This nail polish was suggested by the M.A.C lady and I really like it on her nails and coulnd't resist. Its a dark and bold color, but discreet on its own way. I think its perfect for the Winter, but it can be used any time of the year, its all about knowing how to match the nail polish with the clothes.

D.I.Y Eyeshadow primer

Desde que comecei a interessar-me mais a serio na maquilhagem, descobri algo chamado primer, que serve para fixar a maquilhagem e para que esta dure mais tempo. E comprei o " That gal " da Benefit. Gostei do resultado, dizem que também pode se usar sem base, mas quando o fiz fiquei com a cara rosada e senti que estava muito oleosa, então, misturo com base.

Ever since I gained some interest on make up, I found out this thing called primer, that its used to fix the make up, so it lasts longer. I bought " That Gal " from Benefit. I liked the result, I also read that it can be used without foundation, but when I tried my face looked pinkish and it felt quite oily, so I always use it with foundation.

Mas na minha pesquisa dos primers também vi que há para os lábios, para os olhos e para as pestanas. Para os lábios e os olhos fixa mais a cor e da maior duração da cor. Nunca experimentei nenhum desses. Mas também não tinha muito interesse, pois geralmente quando me maquilho, ponho batom de cieiro, eye liner e rimel. 

On my research on primers I also found out that there are primers for the eyes, lips and lashes. For the lips and eyes it fixes the color and it lasts for longer. I never tried any of those. Specially because I didn't had too much interest, and mostly because on my everyday make up routine I use lip balm, eye liner as mascara.

Nas minhas procuras de D.I.Y's, encontrei uma forma super fácil de fazer um primer para os olhos, e decidi experimentar. Tenho que admitir que gostei mesmo do resultado.

While looking for some D.I.Y's projects I found an easy way to do an eye shadow primer, and decided to give a try. I have to admit that I truly liked the results.

Em cima - Esquerdo sem primer, mesma quantidade que a direita - com primer
Em baixo - 2 horas depois.
On top - Left without primer, same amount as the right - with primer
Bottom - 2 hours later.

A cor 'e logo mais intensa na primeira aplicação e dura mais tempo. Não tenho que por muitas camadas. E 'e muito mais fácil de desmaquilhar em relação `a por a sombra directamente na pele.

The color its much more intense on the first application and lasts longer. And there's no need to put many "coats". Its easier to remove the make up than when I apply the shadow directly to the skin.

'E necessário
1 frasco
Base ou corrector de olheiras
Creme para o corpo ou para cara ( de preferência sem odores, se não causa irritações nos olhos )
1 palito ou uma espátula pequena



You will need
1 small container
Foundation or concealer
Body butter or face cream ( make sure that it doesn't have any scent, it might cause an irritation on your eyes )
1 spatula or toothpick.


No frasco ponha uma ou duas gotas do corrector ou base e ponha creme, e vá acrescentando o creme ate ficar uma cor próxima a sua pele.  E já esta.

On the container put one or two drops of foundation and put the butter, and if necessary, add more butter until it reaches your skin color. And you are good to go.

D.I.Y Eye shadow primer

Cat eyes for dummies ;)

Uma maquilhagem que eu realmente adoro e acho sensual e ao mesmo tempo aceitável para o dia-a-dia 'e Cat Eyes. 'E um bocado de dor de cabeça para fazer, mas 'e super fácil  No inicio tinha algumas dificuldades, mas depois fui ganhando pratica e agora faço o num instantinho. E a uns tempos encontrei uma maneira mesmo simples de fazer, e gostaria eu de ter encontrando quando descobri as maravilhas do eye-liner.  

If there is a make-up style that I really love and think its sexy at the same time and acceptable for a normal day, its Cat Eyes. Its quite a headache to do it when you don't know how to, but with time or experience you realize how easy it is.  At the beggining I had a had time with it, mas then I got experience and now I do it in 2 minutes. Some time ago I found out a easy way to do it, and I wish I had knew it before, when I found out the eye-liner.


'E necessário fita-cola, eye liner e rimel. A base e o corrector 'e opcional. 

You'll need tape, eye-liner and mascara. The foundation and concealer part its optional.

1. Primeiro limpa-se a pele, e se quiser ponha corrector e base.

1. First clean and prepare your skin, and if you want to, conceal what you need and put your foundation.

2. De seguida, corte 2 pedaços de fita-cola e ponha nos cantos dos olhos em direcao as suas sobrancelhas.

 2. Cut the small pieces of tape, and stick them on the outter corner of yours eyes.

3. Faca a sua linha, pode ser grossa ou fina, como quiser. Pode cobrir o olho todo ou so 3/4.

3. Line your eye, it can be a thin or thick line. You choose. It can cover the whole eye or just 3/4.

4. Continue a sua linha traçando mesmo rente a fita-cola, de forma a fazer uma especie de trianguluzinho pequenininho de acordo com a grossura da sua linha. Deixe secar  um bocadinho e tire a fita-cola. Se for necessario, corrija alguns erros que possa ter e tambem a base

4.Continue your line very close to the tape, and make a little triangle, according to the thickness of your line. Let it dry and remove the tape. If necessary, fix the mistakes and in need put on foundation to the places that the tape might have it removed.

5.Passe uma boa camada de rimel. 

5.Put on some mascara, making tou lashes look as good as you desire.

Pode contrastar com um batom forte ou um batom claro. O que achar mais adequado para o evento que for.

You can wear it with a bold lipstick or with a light one, as you wish. And whats more apropriate to the place you're going to .
