I see fire : Eye Make Up

                              

Sometimes everyone feels the need for a more power full make up when in need to stand out or look different, a bit more fierce, sexy or even bold!

De vez em quando todas nós sentimos a necessidade de termos uma maquilhagem mais forte para nos mostrarmos, termos um aspeto diferente, parecermos mais fortes, sensuais ou até mais corajosas. 

You can always choose to use either your lips or your eyes. For your lips you can wear a bright color lipstick or a dark one and you can always use the classic red lipstick. And for your eyes, you can use eye shadows to do the work.
And lucky for everyone, I might just have the perfect thing, a black and orange make eye make up. Orange is a strong color and black is a bold color, both of them together should make a perfect match.
Because this make up is quite strong, I'd advice matching it with a nude or light pink lipstick or blush and peachy blush.

Pode sempre escolher usar os lábios ou os olhos para esse fim. Caso escolha os lábios pode usar uma cor clara ou forte de batom, ou optar pelo clássico batom vermelho. E se escolher os olhos as sombras irão fazer o trabalho.
E sorte de todas vocês, eu devo ter a coisa perfeita, maquilhagem para os olhos preta e laranja. O laranja é uma cor forte e o preto é uma cor pesada e os dois juntos são uma combinação perfeita.
Porque está maquilhagem é um bocado forte, aconselho a combinar com um batom nude ou rosa claro e um blush num tom próximo a pele.

You will need Gold, Orange, Brown or Dark Brown and Black Eye shadow, Mascara, Eye Khol and Eye liner

Vai precisar de sombra dourada, laranja, castanha ou castanha escura e preta, rímel, lápis preto e eye liner.

To start, you'll need to get your supplies close and prep your lids. Trim your brows, apply concealer to your under eye and primer into your eyelids.

Para começar junte todo material que precise e prepare os seus olhos. Arranje as sobrancelhas, ponha corretor nas olheiras e ponha primer nas pálpebras.

Start by applying gold eye shadow in your inner corners all the way to your tear ducts. Then apply orange in the middle of your lid.

Comece por por sombra dourada nos cantos internos dos olhos até '' aos sacos das lágrimas ''. De seguida ponha sombra laranja no meio das pálpebras.


 With a medium to dark brown do the crease. And apply black eye shadow on the outer corners of your eyes and don't forget to highlight the brow bone.

Passe uma sombra castanha ou castanha escura no côncavo dos olhos e ponha sombra preta nos cantos externos dos olhos.

With the shadows done, its time o the eye liner and mascara. Apply your eyeliner all over your lash line, water line and lower lash line, doing a cat eyes   and join the lines on your tear duct. After that, apply a generous coat of black mascara or/and fake lashes to give a much more dramatic look.

Com as sombras concluídas, prepare o eye liner  e o rímel. Ponha o eye liner  seguindo a linha das pestanas, na linha d'água e embaixo das pestanas de baixo, fazendo um risco de gatinho  e junte as linhas no canto interno dos olhos fazendo um 'V'. Depois ponha uma boa camada de rímel e/ou pestanas falsas para dar um aspeto mais dramático.

As you can see its not hard to do, the thing that makes it stand its the mixture of the 2 bold and strong colors. Feel free to use another color in place of the orange.

Como pode ver não é nada difícil de ser feito, e o que faz está maquilhagem ser chamativa  é a mistura de 2 cores fortes. Sinta-se à vontade para usar outra cor em vez do laranja.






I think this make up would be more suitable for a cocktail, a night out or a concert and perhaps a date night. I don't think it would be very suitable for a wedding or to work because its very strong.

Acho q está maquilhagem seria mais apropriada para um cocktail, uma saída a noite ou um concerto e talvez um para um encontro. Acho eu que não seria própria para um casamento por ser muito forte.

March Favorites

Peço imensas desculpas por não ter estado a atualizar o blog, mas foram as últimas semanas de aulas e estive a estudar imenso para os últimos testes de forma que passei os dias todinhos na escola, mas finalmente estou de férias e então tenho imenso tempo para atualizar o blog e preparar posts.

I am so sorry for not updating the blog, but those were the last weeks of school and I had to study even more for my finals, so I spent pretty much the whole days in school, but, finally I am in vocations, so I have plenty of time to actualize the blog and prepare posts.(

Aviso desde já que tenho imensas novidades, mas para já vou fazer a lista das minhas coisas preferidas do mês de março, que parece distante e passou super rápido.

I should let you all know that I have plenty of new stuff to blog about, but for now, I will list my favorite stuff from March, that seems very distant but went through super fast.

Para começar, a minha nova querida, Naked 3 ( veja toda informação sobre ela aqui e aqui ). Não só falei sobre ela este mês, como também usei-a para uma saída. Realmente gostei imenso desta palete, as cores são fantásticas e combinam lindamente com tudooooo!

To start, my new babe, Naked 3 ( check everything about it here and here). Not only I mentioned it this month, but I also used for a night out. I really liked this palette, the colors are amazing and it matches everything!

A coisa que mais usei este mês foi o rouge/blush da Benefit, Coralista. Ofereceram-me pelo Natal, e usei quase todos dias nestes últimos dias. Tem um tom rosado, bastante subtil, e pelo menos na minha pele não fica um rosa muito marcado ou pouco natural, fica mesmo no ponto, dando-me um brilho natural. Além do tom rosado, este rouge/blush tem brilhantes.

The most used thing this month was the  Coralista blush/rouge from Benefit. It was Christmas gift and I have been using it almost everyday during the last month. It has a pinkish tone, very subtle, and at least on my skin, it doesn't look very pink or not natural, it looks very good, giving me a natural glow. Besides the pink color its shimmery. 

Além do rouge/blush que foi meu aliado este mês, quase sempre que usei rímel, Maybelline, The Rocket Mascara esteve sempre presente. Comecei a usa-lo este ano e gostei imenso dele. Dá volume e alonga as pestanas. Outro rímel que realmente aconselho. E apesar de não usar muito pestanas falsas, este mês use-ias, adorei como fizeram os meus olhos *POP*. As que usei são da Forever 21.

Besides the blush/rouge that was my bestieee this month, pretty much every time that I wore mascara, Maybelline, The Rocket Mascara was always there. I started using it this year and I really loved it. It gives volume and makes the lashes much much long. Another mascara that I recommend. Even though I don't wear fake lashes that much, I wore them this month, and I loved how they made my eyes *POP*. The ones I used are from Forever 21. 

Embora ultimamente não me tenha maquilhado muito, não deixei de usar eye liner, e o meu preferido deste mês foi o da Sephora Long Lasting Eyeliner. Desde que o comecei a usar, gosto cada vez mais dele. Não é difícil de por, dura imenso, não borra e tem boa pigmentação. ( já foi usado aqui, aqui e aqui).

Despite the fact that I didn't used make up that much lately, I used eye liner, and this months favorite was Sephora Long Lasting Eyeliner. Since I start using it, I fancy it more and more. Its not hard to apply it, it lasts very well, it doesn't smudge and it has a good color. ( it was used here, here and here).

Apesar de não pintar muito as unhas, este mês decidi esmerar-me quando as pintei, e para tal usei OPI Matte Top Coat. Fiz manicura francesa e filha única com esta base. Já experimentei em todas as unhas e não gostei muito do efeito, então prefiro usar para decorar.

Even though I don't paint my nails that much, this month I decided to over do when I did it, and for that I used OPI Matte Top Coat. I did french nails and only daughter with this top coat. I have also tried painting it on all the nails and didn't like the effect that much, so I'd rather use it to give them a twist.

Este mês os meus lábios foram tratados com um dos itens da nova linha da Labello, Raspberry Rosé Lip Butter e Vanilla Macadamia. Mas o que realmente foi TOP é o de framboesa. Comecei a usar estes batôns de cieiro porque uma amiga minha foi de viagem e comprou o de baunilha e usávamos juntas, gostei tanto de como ficava nos lábios e como já os tinha visto no site da Labello, pedi-lhe que quando voltasse me trouxesse o de framboesa. Adoro as fórmulas de qualquer um dos dois, mas o de baunilha tem o cheiro um bocado forte, então acho-o enjoativo depois de um tempo, já o de framboesa tem um cheiro mais delicado e suave e por isso, ganhou pontos.

During this month my lips were spoiled with one of the new products from the new line from Labello, Raspberry Rosé Lip Butter and Vanilla Macadamia. But for me, the best is the raspberry. I started using this lip balm because a friend of mine traveled and bought the vanilla one and we'd use it while we were together, I like it so much, and because I saw on Labello website, I asked her to get me the raspberry one. I love both formulas, but I found the vanilla with a much stronger smell, so its easy to get sick of it, but the raspberry has a much softer scent so it gained points.

E para finalizar, a série que mais vi este mês, quando não estava enfiada nos livros, via sempre que podia Gossip Girl. Desde que vi pela primeira vez há alguns anos ADOREI! mas o canal em que via deixou de passar, então nunca mais vi, e há umas semanas uma amiga minha tinha-me dito que tinha a série inteirinha então, não tive escolha senão ver. Acho está série fantástica, apesar de saber que o estilo de vida em que estes jovens vivem é pouco surrealista e é a única coisa de que não gosto nessa série, e o facto de os jovens de 16/17 anos viverem e terem aspetos de pessoas de 25/30 anos.

And to finish, the show I watched the most this month, when I wasn't studying, is Gossip Girl. Since I started watch it years ago, I LOVED it! but the channel that used to play it stopped, so I never watch it again, until a friend told me she has the whole show, so I had no choice but watch it. I found this show amazing, even though I know that this style of life its unrealistic and its the only thing I don't like, and the fact that 16/17 year old teenagers live like they are 25/30.

St. Patrick's day

Com o dia de São Patrício a chegar, irei partilhar ideias de maquilhagem, roupa adequadas para a fantasia de que faz parte a celebração deste dia e receitas e cocktails para quem irá dar uma festa neste data.

With St. Patrick's day right around the corner, I will be sharing ideas for make up, clothes to wear on this specific day as part of the fantasy and ideas of recipes and cocktails for the hosts of the possible encounters. 

Mas primeiro irei explicar o que é o Dia de S. Patrício. É uma festividade cristã declarada no século XVII ( dezassete ) por algumas igrejas - especialmente a Igreja da Irlanda, e por isso está relacionado com a Irlanda -. Nesse dia, 17 de março, comemora-se Dia de S. Patrício pois foi nessa data que chegou a cristandade chegou à Irlanda, e então as pessoas celebram esta data pela cultura irlandesa.

But first, I will be explaining whats St. Patrick's day all about. Its a Christian feast day declared on the XVII ( seventeenth ) century by a few churches - specially the Church of Ireland, that's why its mostly an Irish holiday in Ireland -. On this day, March 17, its the commemoration of Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, so people celebrate it mostly for the heritage and culture of Ireland. 

A celebração envolve festivais, desfiles, usar-se verde, trevo e mitologia irlandesa ( duendes ), os cristãos tem uma missa especial e as restrições de comida e bebida alcoólica nesse dia são abolidas, por isso é que há uma tradição de um uso excessivo de alcoól.

The celebrations involve festivals, public parades, wearing green, shamrocks , the Christians go to church, and the restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted that day, which encourages and propagates the tradition of alcohol consumption on this date. 

Originalmente a cor associada ao São Patrício era o azul, mas ao longo dos anos a cor verde e a sua relação com este Santo cresceu. O uso do verde, fitas e o trevo já eram usadas na celebração desta data no século XVII. Diz-se que o S. Patrício usava o trevo para explicar a Santíssima Trindade aos pagãos.

Originally the color associated with Saint Patrick was blue, though over the years the green color and the association with Saint Patrick grew. The use of green ribbons and shamrock were mostly worn in celebration of St. Patrick's day on the XVII century as well. It used to be said that St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish.

Após as receitas de doces, salsa para acompanhar os snacks, uma refeição e algumas bebidas, devo dar ideias de maquilhagem e roupas para esta data comemorativa.

Now that we have a few sweets, salsa to go with snacks, a meal  and a few drinks, I shall give you all a few ideas of make up looks and clothes for this special date.

As ideias variam bastante, desde um look mais casual, para algo pratico, adoravel, simples, engraçado, clássico e até abrange os bebés.

The ideas go from a more casual look, to something practical, sweet, simple, funny, , classy and even for the babies.

Como já tinha referido e como podem ver nas imagens, a chave para este dia é o verde e branco.

As you can see on the images, the key thing to St. Patrick's day its green and white.

Pode se usar uma indumentária simples para este dia, tal como calças de ganga, uma t-shirt ou camisola e se está a procura de estar a condizer em TUDO pode adicionar ao seu visual um verniz verde, acessórios e uma maquilhagem comemorativa.

You can wear a simple outfit for this day, such as a pair of jeans, a shirt or a jumper, and if you're looking for a 'matchy-matchy' look you can top it with some green nail polish, a few accessories, and make up.

As opções de roupa que aqui tenho são adaptáveis para qualquer pessoa e clima que  possa enfrentar. Como por exemplo um dia de sol, pode usar uma fedora, óculos de sol com calções e uma camisa de verão; ou para um dia quente poderá usar um vestido ou gangas com uma camisa leve e sapatos rasos; já para um dia chuvoso aconselho a usar algo que a manterá seca e para evitar que os pés se molhem umas galochas serias a escolha perfeita e para um dia frio uma camisola quente, um gorrinho ou então uma camisa com uma camisola ou um casaco e um cachecol com umas botinhas confortáveis ou sapatilhas e está a indumentária perfeita para celebrar o dia de S. Patrício em qualquer parte independentemente do clima. E se está a procura de ter um aspeto mais formal ou casual, pode usar saltos ou plataformas a combinar com sua roupa. E quanto aos acessórios, quaisquer brincos que combinem com a roupa e  à sua preferência estão bem e o mesmo se aplica a anéis, colares e pulseiras.

The clothes options that I present are adaptable to pretty much every weather you may face. Such as, a sunny day, so you can wear a  fedora and sun glasses with either shorts with a summer shirt,  or a warm day that will allow you to wear dresses or jeans with a light shirt and flat shoes,  for a rainy day  you can wear something simple that will keep you away from getting wet and to avoid you getting your feet wet wear some galoshes matching your outfit and for a cold day jeans with a warm vest, a 'beany'   or a shirt with a cardigan or a scarf and some cozy boots or sneakers may keep you warm, comfortable and looking good to celebrate this holiday. And if you are looking for a look a bit more casual you can wear some matching heels or wedges. The accessories can vary between different types of earrings, small or big, whatever you decide and feel good with or some bracelets or a necklace that you feel that matches your outfit. 

Ou se não quiser entrar o verdadeiro espírito de usar roupa verde, sempre pode usar algo neutro e na maquilhagem, unhas e acessórios mostrar o seu espírito de celebração deste dia. Então mostrarei tutoriais fáceis usando maioritariamente sombras verdes, apear de sombras coloridas não serem a minha praia, a não ser que esteja a celebrar algo ou para algum entretenimento.

Or you can just wear something neutral and match it with a make up, nails and accessories related to this day. So, I will be showing a few simple tutorials for St. Patrick's day using green shadows mostly  despite the fact that wearing colorful shadows its not exactly my cup of tea, unless is for something fun or to celebrate something.

Anywho there are plenty of options to wear for St. Patrick's day.

Depois de decidir o que vestir, vem a maquilhagem. Caso use algo neutro, tenho 2 tutoriais para mostrar fáceis de serem feitos.

After deciding what to wear, comes make up. In case you wear something neutral I've 2 tutorials to show and easy to be made.

Primeiro comece por colocar o primer na sua pálpebra e depois com um pincel para delineador verde faça uma linha no côncavo e junte-a ao canto dos olhos. Ao contrário dos outros tutoriais este começa ao contrário, ou seja, comece por por uma sombra verde escura no canto dos olhos e no centro da pálpebra uma sombra verde, sem esquecer de misturar com a preta. No canto interior dos olhos ponha uma sombra azul clara e misture-a com a verde.

First start by applying primer over the eye lid and then with an eye liner brush or with eye liner make a line over the crease towards the corner of your eye and connect. Unlike the other tutorials, this one starts backwards, which means, you start by filing in the outer corner with dark green shadow and on the center of the lid medium green and make sure to blend it. Brush with a light blue on the inner corner and mix it with the medium green.

Com um pincel ou delineador preto faça cat eyes sem deixar o que já está traçado por verde. Ponha um toque de amarelo na sombra verde. E na linha d'água ponha no canto interno sombra azul clara, no meio verde e no canto preto. Passe uma boa camada de rímel pelas pestanas e voilá !

With an eye liner brush or black eye liner, apply it over the existing cat eye and blend with the green at the edge. Add a touch of yellow to the center lid. And on the water line brush it with light blue on the inner corner, followed by medium green and black on the outer corner. Finish it by adding a generous coat of mascara and voilá!

Naked 3

Finalmente falo sobre a Naked 3!! A nova palete da Urban Decay e da linha Naked.

Finally I post about Naked 3!! The new palette from Urban Decay and the Naked line.

Tenho que dizer desde já que as cores são excepcionais. Há algumas cores Mate, Brilhantes, Acetinadas e cores frias e quentes. Esta palete é conhecida pelas suas cores em tons de rosa, vem também com 4 primers da Urban Decay (  Sin, Original, Eden e Anti-aging ) e um pincel de 2 pontas. Um dos lados para aplicar as sombras e o outro para esfumar.

Needless to say that the colors are amazing. Some are Matte, Glittery, Satin and they are divided by warm and cool tones. This palette is known for the pinkish colors. It cames with 4 primers from Urban Decay ( Sin, Original, Eden & Anti-aging ) and a double end brush. One side to apply the shadows and the other to smoke it.

 A embalagem é como a da Naked 2. Mesmo material e mesma forma de fecho, difere na cor e na ondulação que tem na parte de cima.

The package is like Naked 2. The same type of box and the same way to close it, the difference is on the color and the waves on top.

Apesar de ter tons rosados e brilhantes tenho que dizer que gostei imenso das cores e como elas ficam na pele. Normalmente não usaria para o dia a dia, pois prefiro tons mais mate e da cor da pele, mas estas, era capaz de as usar todos dias para todo lado.

Também há que dizer que esta palete é perfeita para a primavera que se está a aproximar no Hemisfério Norte.

Despite the pinkish and sparkly colors I need to say that I really liked the colors and the way they look on the skin. Normally, I wouldn't use them for a daily life, because I prefer matte colors and skin color shades, but I with this palette I could wear them everyday.

And this palette its perfect for the Spring that is coming very soon on the Northern Hemisphere.









Aproveito também para fazer um tutorial com esta palete, que acho perfeita para usar-se numa saída a noite, num jantar mais requintado, baile de finalistas, enfim, qualquer evento que nos faça ficar-mos super catitas.

I am also presenting a tutorial with this palette that I think its perfect to wear on a night out, a fancy dinner, prom, anything that makes us look even prettier.


Então, para esta maquilhagem, começa-se por passar a sombra ' Strange ' pela canto interior dos olhos e depois 'Dust' pela pálpebra móvel inteira. De seguida passe 'Trick' pelo centro das pálpebras até ao fim. Nos cantos dos olhos ponha 'Blackheart'. No côncavo dos olhos ponha 'Factory' e na linha de água dos olhos, para finalizar, passe 'Mugshot'.De seguida passe o eye liner como quiser no seu olho, eu preferi fazer 'Cat Eyes' ( tenha mais ideias  aqui ) e de seguida passe uma boa camada generosa de rimel, ou então pestanas falsas. Não é muito complicado de ser feito e até é rápido.

So, for this make up, you start by applying 'Strange' on the inner corner of the eyes and then 'Dust' on the lid. After that put 'Trick' on the center lid. On the mid crease put 'Blackheart'. On the crease apply 'Factory' and on the waterline appy 'Mugshot'. After all of that, put eye liner, they way you want, I choose to do Cat Eyes ( get more ideas here ) and then, put a generous amount of mascara, or fake lashes. Its not complicated at all to be done and its very fast.



Lembre-se também que ao usar uma sombra clara e cintilante no canto interior dos olhos ilumina os olhos e dá um aspecto mais vivo e claro aos olhos em si.

Remember that when you wear a light and sparkly eye shadow on the inner corner of the eyes it makes them pop and make them look more bright.

Bom, com isto concluo a minha pequena apresentação sobre a Naked 3, que realmente aconselho a comprar. Digo que agora o meu kit de maquilhagem está completo com esta palete perfeita para qualquer momento do dia, com cores fantásticas e com uma boa pigmentação. Estas cores são perfeitas para peles morenas pois combina lindamente com a cor da pele e também é um aliado dos olhos castanhos.

Well, now I conclude my small presentation on Naked 3, that  I strongly advice for you to buy it. I can say now that my make up kit its now complete with this perfect palette for any time of the day, with amazing colors and great pigmentation. These colors are perfect for olive skin because it matches perfectly the skin color and it works wonderfully with brown eyes.

Pink & Brown Make up - I did it :D

Ha umas semanas atrás tive um casamento e decidi usar um vestido rosa claro com um blazer preto e pela primeira vez, usei para algum lugar sombras coloridas.

A few weeks ago I had a wedding to attend, and I decided to wear this pink dress I have, with a black blazer, and for the very first time, I wore colored shadows.

'E muito simples de ser feito, 'e necessário primer, sombra cor de rosa - ou outra cor qualquer a seu gosto -, sombra castanha e castanha escura.

Its very simple to be done, you just need a primer, pink shadow - or any other color you'd like to use, a medium brown shadow and a dark brown shadow.

Primeiro comece por por o primer na pálpebra, de seguida ponha no canto interno sombra cor de rosa, no meio da pálpebra ponha sombra castanha, misturando um bocado com a rosa e ja nos cantos dos olhos ponha sombra castanha escura, pode tanto alongar como se fosse fazer um cat eyes ou então termine no fim dos olhos.

First, start by applying primer on your lids, then put the pink shadow on the inner corner, the put the medium brown on the middle of the eye lid and on the outer corner of your eyes put the dark brown.


Opcionalmente ponha eye liner - preto ou castanho - e pode tanto fazer a linha grossa para um efeito dramático ou de forma subtil.

You can top it off with black eye liner, either making a strong cat eyes or a thin line all over the lash line.

E para dar um efeito mais especial, ponha uma boa camada de rimel.

And for that special effect, pump those lashes, making them voluptuous, long and dramatic.

Sinta-se a vontade para por lápis na linha d'agua.

Feel free to put some eye liner on the bottom eye lid.

Espero que goste e tente fazer em si própria para alguma ocasião especial.

No âmbito da criação deste blog, decidi começar a usar sombras coloridas e a fazer experiências, para variar um bocado dos meus comuns esfumados com tons de castanhos e os meus cat eyes; creio eu que já tinha mencionado isso no Ouro sobre azul. 


Due to the creation of this blog, I decided to use colorful eye shadows and make more experiments with them, just to change my usual browns and cat eyes, I think I have mentioned that before hereOuro sobre azul - Gold and blue eye.


Ontem, aproveitei o dia para criar posts para o blog, e decidi experimentar esta maquilhagem super colorida ao meu gosto. Seria perfeita para festas a noite, casamentos e talvez uma gala. Combinando uma das sombras com o vestido, de preferência o roxo ou o laranja.


Yesterday I used the day to create blog posts, and decided to try this super colorful make up look. It would be perfect for a party at night, weddings and even a gala. Matching one of the shadows with the dress, either purple or orange.


Achei simples de fazer ( como sempre acho ), gostei imenso do resultado, na minha opinião, a única coisa que dispensaria, seria o prolongamento do eye liner. 


Like usual, I thought it was easy to do, I really fancied the result, and on my opinion, the only thing I could skip, would be the eye liner following the eye shadow.

Sera necessário :
- Corrector de olheiras
-Primer para os olhos
-Sombras - Laranja, Vermelho, Roxo ( Palete de 96 cores )
-Eye Liner
-Lapis preto
-Rimel    You will need :
-Concealer
-Eye shadow primer
-Eye shadow - orange, red, purple ( 96 Colors pallet )
-Eye liner
-Black Kohl
-Mascara

 

Primeiro - Como sempre, limpar a pele, por o corrector para corrigir as olheiras, se necessário dar um jeito as sobrancelhas e por primer - aprenda a fazer.

First : Clean the skin, apply concealer, and if necessary fix your eyebrows and put on primer - learn here.

Segundo - Comece por por uma sombra branca no canto interior dos olhos. De seguida ponha a sombra laranja desde o inicio da pálpebra ate metade.

Second : Start applying a white eye shadow on the inner corner of the eyes, then, put the orange shadow from the begging of the eye lid until half of it.

Terceiro : Ponha uma sombra avermelhada no meio da pálpebra e misture um bocado com a sombra laranja.

Third : Put a reddish eye shadow on the middle, and blend it a bit with the orange eye shadow.

Quarto :  Ponha a sombra roxa no canto externo dos olhos, e prolongue um bocado como se estivesse a a fazer cat eyes. Se quiser, só para escurecer um bocado, misture o roxo com preto.

Fourth : Put the purple eye shadow on the outer corner, and extend it like you were going to do cat eyes. If you want, just to make it darker, blend the purple with black.

Quinto : Passe eye liner na pálpebra, e se quiser, prolongue com a sombra roxa.

Fifth : Put eye liner all over the eye lid, and if you want, extend it along the purple shadow.

Sexto : Passe a sombra roxa perto da linha d'agua dos olhos, e ponha lápis preto.


Sixth : Put the purple eye shadow close to the water line and apply black kohl.

Sétimo : Como sempre, ponha uma boa camada generosa de rimel, em cima e em baixo.


Seventh : Like usual, put a very generous amount of mascara - on top and bottom lashes.


Ponha um batom claro ou nude para acompanhar esta maquilhagem. Use um blush que complemente a sua tez.


Wear this eye look with a light or nude lipstick. Also wear a blush that will complement your skin tone.

Cat eyes for dummies ;)

Uma maquilhagem que eu realmente adoro e acho sensual e ao mesmo tempo aceitável para o dia-a-dia 'e Cat Eyes. 'E um bocado de dor de cabeça para fazer, mas 'e super fácil  No inicio tinha algumas dificuldades, mas depois fui ganhando pratica e agora faço o num instantinho. E a uns tempos encontrei uma maneira mesmo simples de fazer, e gostaria eu de ter encontrando quando descobri as maravilhas do eye-liner.  

If there is a make-up style that I really love and think its sexy at the same time and acceptable for a normal day, its Cat Eyes. Its quite a headache to do it when you don't know how to, but with time or experience you realize how easy it is.  At the beggining I had a had time with it, mas then I got experience and now I do it in 2 minutes. Some time ago I found out a easy way to do it, and I wish I had knew it before, when I found out the eye-liner.


'E necessário fita-cola, eye liner e rimel. A base e o corrector 'e opcional. 

You'll need tape, eye-liner and mascara. The foundation and concealer part its optional.

1. Primeiro limpa-se a pele, e se quiser ponha corrector e base.

1. First clean and prepare your skin, and if you want to, conceal what you need and put your foundation.

2. De seguida, corte 2 pedaços de fita-cola e ponha nos cantos dos olhos em direcao as suas sobrancelhas.

 2. Cut the small pieces of tape, and stick them on the outter corner of yours eyes.

3. Faca a sua linha, pode ser grossa ou fina, como quiser. Pode cobrir o olho todo ou so 3/4.

3. Line your eye, it can be a thin or thick line. You choose. It can cover the whole eye or just 3/4.

4. Continue a sua linha traçando mesmo rente a fita-cola, de forma a fazer uma especie de trianguluzinho pequenininho de acordo com a grossura da sua linha. Deixe secar  um bocadinho e tire a fita-cola. Se for necessario, corrija alguns erros que possa ter e tambem a base

4.Continue your line very close to the tape, and make a little triangle, according to the thickness of your line. Let it dry and remove the tape. If necessary, fix the mistakes and in need put on foundation to the places that the tape might have it removed.

5.Passe uma boa camada de rimel. 

5.Put on some mascara, making tou lashes look as good as you desire.

Pode contrastar com um batom forte ou um batom claro. O que achar mais adequado para o evento que for.

You can wear it with a bold lipstick or with a light one, as you wish. And whats more apropriate to the place you're going to .
