Olá,

Em primeiro lugar gostaria de pedir desculpas por nao estar a atualizar, mas é que estou de férias e nao tenho muito tempo para atualizar isto. Mas PROMETO que atualizarei com frequencia em Janeiro, especialmente com opnioes de maquiagem. :D :D

Gostaria de poder agradecer a TODOS os visualizadores do blog. Espero que gostem e que esteja a corresponder as espetativas. Comecou como algo pequeno mas espero que cresca muito mais e que fique mais conhecido.

Enfim, FELIZ ANO NOVO à todos. Espero que tenham uma ótima noite e que se tenham divertido. Também desejo tudo do bom e do melhor para 2014 rodeados dos que gostam e a fazer o que é do vosso também.

First of all, I'd like to appologize for being ausent on the last days, its just that I am in vocations and I barely have time to post anything. But I do PROMESS many posts in January, and specially make up reviews :D :D

I'd like to thank EVERYONE that is a viewer on my blog. I hope that you do enjoy it. It started as something small and its getting bigger and a little bit more popular.

Pink & Brown Make up - I did it :D

Ha umas semanas atrás tive um casamento e decidi usar um vestido rosa claro com um blazer preto e pela primeira vez, usei para algum lugar sombras coloridas.

A few weeks ago I had a wedding to attend, and I decided to wear this pink dress I have, with a black blazer, and for the very first time, I wore colored shadows.

'E muito simples de ser feito, 'e necessário primer, sombra cor de rosa - ou outra cor qualquer a seu gosto -, sombra castanha e castanha escura.

Its very simple to be done, you just need a primer, pink shadow - or any other color you'd like to use, a medium brown shadow and a dark brown shadow.

Primeiro comece por por o primer na pálpebra, de seguida ponha no canto interno sombra cor de rosa, no meio da pálpebra ponha sombra castanha, misturando um bocado com a rosa e ja nos cantos dos olhos ponha sombra castanha escura, pode tanto alongar como se fosse fazer um cat eyes ou então termine no fim dos olhos.

First, start by applying primer on your lids, then put the pink shadow on the inner corner, the put the medium brown on the middle of the eye lid and on the outer corner of your eyes put the dark brown.


Opcionalmente ponha eye liner - preto ou castanho - e pode tanto fazer a linha grossa para um efeito dramático ou de forma subtil.

You can top it off with black eye liner, either making a strong cat eyes or a thin line all over the lash line.

E para dar um efeito mais especial, ponha uma boa camada de rimel.

And for that special effect, pump those lashes, making them voluptuous, long and dramatic.

Sinta-se a vontade para por lápis na linha d'agua.

Feel free to put some eye liner on the bottom eye lid.

Espero que goste e tente fazer em si própria para alguma ocasião especial.

Apricot & White Chocolate cookies with Apricot Frozen Yougurt

Depois de imenso tempo com vontade de comer um bom frozen yogurth  e sem poder, porque aqui nao ha e sem poder fazer fazer porque também não havia iogurte grego e as receitas que tinha eram para iogurte grego, FINALMENTE fiz ! Encontrei o iogurte grego na mercearia e não resisti leva-lo. 

After a looooooong time craving for frozen yogurt and not being able to eat it because its not available here and I couldn't do it because I needed Greek yogurt and it wasn't available here, but FINALLY I did it. I found the Greek yogurt on the grocery store and could not resist, so I took it home with me.

A ideia inicial deste fim de semana era fazer um bolo de morango com iogurte de morango mas nao resisti a esta delicia.

The initial idea for this weekend was to make a strawberry cake with strawberry yogurt, but I could not resist to this treat. 

Então, precisei de 4 chávenas de alperces cortados , 2 colheres de sopa de mel ( a receita dizia 3, mas decidi inovar ), 1 colher de chá de doce de pêssego, sumo de meio limão e 2 taças de iogurte grego.

So, I needed 4 cups of diced apricots, 2 table spoons of honey (the recipe said 3 but I decided to change it ), 1 tea spoon of peach jam, half a lemon juice and 2 bowls of Greek yogurt.

Se quiser pode descascar as alperces ou então usar pêssegos ou mesmo damascos.

Feel free to peel the apricots or use peaches.

Pus tudo no liquidificador e deixei bater durante 2 minutos. Depois pus todo conteúdo numa tigela que pode ir ao congelador e deixei la por 4 horas.

I put all in the blender and let it blend for 2 minutes. Then I poured the mixture into a bowl that is freezer safe and let it freeze for about 4 hours.

E enquanto esperava pelo iogurte, lembrei-me das sandes de gelado e que ja a muito tempo que nao comia, e decidi fazer os biscoitos. Comecei por aquecer o forno a 180 graus.

While waiting for the yogurt I remembered those ice cream sandwiches, and that it has been a very long time since I had those, so I decided to bake cookies. I started by pre-heating the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Usei 2 ovos, 150 gramas de manteiga amolecida, 1 chávena de açúcar, 2 chávenas e meia de farinha, 1 colher de chá de fermento,  1 chávena de chocolate branco triturado e 1 chávena de alperces também triturada

I used 2 eggs, 150 grams of butter, 1 cup of sugar, 2 cups and a half of flour, 1 tea spoon of baking powder, 1 cup of crushed white chocolate  and 1 cup of blended apricots.

Comecei por bater a manteiga com o açúcar, depois acrescentei os ovos. Depois juntei a farinha e o fermento peneirados, e por fim acrescentei o chocolate branco e as alperces e bati mais um bocado.

Started by beating the butter with the sugar, added the eggs. Then added the flour and the baking powder and then I added the white chocolate and apricots and mix it a little bit more.


Num tabuleiro para o forno pus papel para o forno e fiz seis bolas espalmadas de biscoito e deixei no forno por 15 minutos.

On a oven tray I placed some baking paper and made 6 flat balls of cookie dough and let it on the oven to bake for 15 minutes.

E depois de tudo pronto, peguei em duas bolachas e pus o iogurte no meio e comi, estava tãooooooo bom que comi logo 2 de uma vez.

After everything was done I got two cookies and put the frozen yogurt in the middle and had it, it was sooooo delicious that I had 2 in a row.







Anseio experimentar com outras frutas, e gostei do resultado.

I am looking forward to try with fruits and I really fancied the results.

A umas semanas atrás falei da nova palete da Urban Decay - Naked 3. Falei das cores, do que achava das outras duas e dei alguma informação sobre esta nova palete.

Couple weeks ago I mentioned the new Urban Decay palette - Naked 3. I talked about the colors, what I thought about the other two paletts and gave some information on the palett.

Com este post quero informar que a Naked 3 JÁ CHEGOU !!!So, with this post, I'd like to inform that the wait is OVER !

Foi lançada no dia 21 deste mês e já esgotou no site de Urban Decay.

It was released on the 21st of November and its already sold out on the Urban Decay website.

No site da Sephora ainda não ha informação sobre esta palete, mas 'e possível que já esteja a venda nas lojas.

There's nothing on the Sephora website, but its possible that they're already selling it on the stores.

O preço são 52 dólares. 

The price in the US is 52 dollars.

Realmente estou ansiosa para poder comprar e experimentar .

Carrot cake with Brigadeirooo

                                 
Estive completamente ausente do blog, mas não foi por vontade,mas sim por ter um MONTE de coisas por estudar.

I have been MIA, but it wasn't an option, I just had a TON of stuff to study.

Uma das minhas turmas esta semana ia fazer uma feira gastronómica para poder angariar fundos para realizarem uma festa de natal numa enfermaria, e para ajuda-los decidi fazer um bolo de cenoura SUPER FÁCIL E SIMPLES!! com cobertura de brigadeiro - nada melhor para acompanhar um bolo de cenoura.

One of my classes had a gastronomic fair this week to get a fund raise to have a Christmas party with kids from an Hospital, and to help them I decided

to make a EASY carrot cake with brigadeiro  sauce on top. - Brigadeiro  its a Brazilian candy made with cocoa powder and condensed milk.

Infelizmente não pude comer o bolo porque estava na aula, estava um bocado nervosa pois não sabia do resultado, mas o facto de ter visto o meu prato vazio deu-me alegria :)

Unfortunately I couldn't eat the cake because I was in class, and I was a bit nervous because I didn't knew the result of the cake, but the fact that I saw my plate empty gave me joy :)

Utilizei : 3 cenouras raladas
3 ovos
1 chávena de óleo
1 colher de sopa de fermento
1 chávena de açúcar castanho
2 chávenas de farinha.
Essência de baunilha

I used : 3 grated carrots
3 eggs
1 cup of oil
1 tbs of baking powder
1 cup of brown sugar
2 cups of flour
Vanilla essence 

Pus no liquidificador a cenoura, os ovos, o óleo e a essência de baunilha e deixei bater por 2 minutos. Depois adicionei o açúcar, deixei bater mais um bocado e por ultimo, acrescentei aos bocados a farinha e o fermento.

Put the carrot, eggs, oil and vanilla on the blender and let it blend for couple minutes. Add the sugar and keep on blending and then add the flour and the baking powder.

Untei uma forma com manteiga e farinha, e deitei a massa para a forma e pus no forno previamente aquecido a 180 graus. Deixei ficar aproximadamente 40 minutos.

Grease a cake mold with butter and flour and pour the batter into the mold and put on a pre heated oven ( 180 degrees Celsius ). Let it bake for about 40 minutes.

Enquanto esperava que o bolo arrefece-se, fiz o molho de brigadeiro. Geralmente, quando as pessoas fazem o molho de brigadeiro para bolos não deixam engrossar, mas como gosto que o brigadeiro cole nos dentes e ficar a lutar com ele deixo engrossar devidamente como se fosse fazer as bolinhas de brigadeiro.

While waiting for the cake to get colder, I did the  brigadeiro sauce. Usually when people make brigadeiro sauce to put on top of cakes they don't let the batter get thick, but because I like it think and to get stuck on my teeth I let it get thick like I am doing brigadeiros.

Para o brigadeiro 'e necessário : Uma lata de leite condensado
1 colher de sopa de manteiga ou margarina
Cacau a gosto.

For the brigadeiro : One can of condensed milk
1 tbs of butter
Cocoa

Poe-se tudo em fogo médio e vai-se mexendo ate levantar fervura. De seguida baixa-se o fogo e 'e so deitar no bolo, mas caso queira engrossar  'e so  continuar a mexer, ate começar a ver o fundo da panela. 
Se utilizar este molho para o bolo, 'e só deitar, e se for fazer as bolinhas deixe arrefecer e com as mãos untadas com manteiga faca bolinhas e cubra-as com granulados.

Put all on medium heat and mix it until it boils. Then put the heat low and you can pour it on the cake, but if you want it thicker, keep mixing it until you see the end of the pan.
If you use this for a cake pour into the cake, but if you're actually going to make brigadeiro  let it cool down and with buttered hands make tinny balls and cover them with sprinkles

Havia rumores de que a Urban Decay lançaria uma nova palete da  gama Naked. Foi confirmado.
A marca Urban Decay confirmou no Instagram.

There were rumors that Urban Decay would release a new pallet of the line Naked. Its real. The famous brand Urban Decay confirmed on Instagram.

Ainda não se sabe a data de lançamento, mas há blogs de dizem que será entre Novembro a Dezembro - no Hemisfério Norte. Ao preço de 52 dólares como as outras duas paletes Naked 1 e 2.

There is no information yet on the release date, but some blogs say that it will be between November and December on the North Hemisphere. It will be 52 Dollars just like the other two pallets - Naked 1 and 2

Tal como as outras paletes, tem 12 cores. Sendo que nesta as cores são na gama do Rose, ao contrario da 1 que tem cores na gama dos bronzes e a 2 na gama nude.
Like the other pallets, it has 12 colors. Thought, this one has rose colors, unlike 1 that has bronze colors and 2 that has nude.


O site da Urban Decay informou que para se saber a data de lançamento em primeira mão, há que se inscrever no site da Urban Decay e a noticia chegara quando estiver a venda.

Realmente, agora estou ansiosa por esta palete. Não sei se sabem, mas ja tenho a 1 e a 2 e ADORO os resultados e sao as minhas cores " confiadas ". Adoro o facto de serem básicas e em tons clássicos.

To be honest I am anxious for this pallet. I don't know if you are aware but I own 1 and 2 and I LOVE the results and those are my favorite colors, the "trusted" ones. I love the fact that are basic colors and classic.

Ha que salientar que também ha a Naked Basics - que são só 6 cores e tem 4 nunca antes vistas. 'E a palete perfeita para qualquer mulher. 'E simples e tem as cores básicas para criar looks para o dia a dia.

No âmbito da criação deste blog, decidi começar a usar sombras coloridas e a fazer experiências, para variar um bocado dos meus comuns esfumados com tons de castanhos e os meus cat eyes; creio eu que já tinha mencionado isso no Ouro sobre azul. 


Due to the creation of this blog, I decided to use colorful eye shadows and make more experiments with them, just to change my usual browns and cat eyes, I think I have mentioned that before hereOuro sobre azul - Gold and blue eye.


Ontem, aproveitei o dia para criar posts para o blog, e decidi experimentar esta maquilhagem super colorida ao meu gosto. Seria perfeita para festas a noite, casamentos e talvez uma gala. Combinando uma das sombras com o vestido, de preferência o roxo ou o laranja.


Yesterday I used the day to create blog posts, and decided to try this super colorful make up look. It would be perfect for a party at night, weddings and even a gala. Matching one of the shadows with the dress, either purple or orange.


Achei simples de fazer ( como sempre acho ), gostei imenso do resultado, na minha opinião, a única coisa que dispensaria, seria o prolongamento do eye liner. 


Like usual, I thought it was easy to do, I really fancied the result, and on my opinion, the only thing I could skip, would be the eye liner following the eye shadow.

Sera necessário :
- Corrector de olheiras
-Primer para os olhos
-Sombras - Laranja, Vermelho, Roxo ( Palete de 96 cores )
-Eye Liner
-Lapis preto
-Rimel    You will need :
-Concealer
-Eye shadow primer
-Eye shadow - orange, red, purple ( 96 Colors pallet )
-Eye liner
-Black Kohl
-Mascara

 

Primeiro - Como sempre, limpar a pele, por o corrector para corrigir as olheiras, se necessário dar um jeito as sobrancelhas e por primer - aprenda a fazer.

First : Clean the skin, apply concealer, and if necessary fix your eyebrows and put on primer - learn here.

Segundo - Comece por por uma sombra branca no canto interior dos olhos. De seguida ponha a sombra laranja desde o inicio da pálpebra ate metade.

Second : Start applying a white eye shadow on the inner corner of the eyes, then, put the orange shadow from the begging of the eye lid until half of it.

Terceiro : Ponha uma sombra avermelhada no meio da pálpebra e misture um bocado com a sombra laranja.

Third : Put a reddish eye shadow on the middle, and blend it a bit with the orange eye shadow.

Quarto :  Ponha a sombra roxa no canto externo dos olhos, e prolongue um bocado como se estivesse a a fazer cat eyes. Se quiser, só para escurecer um bocado, misture o roxo com preto.

Fourth : Put the purple eye shadow on the outer corner, and extend it like you were going to do cat eyes. If you want, just to make it darker, blend the purple with black.

Quinto : Passe eye liner na pálpebra, e se quiser, prolongue com a sombra roxa.

Fifth : Put eye liner all over the eye lid, and if you want, extend it along the purple shadow.

Sexto : Passe a sombra roxa perto da linha d'agua dos olhos, e ponha lápis preto.


Sixth : Put the purple eye shadow close to the water line and apply black kohl.

Sétimo : Como sempre, ponha uma boa camada generosa de rimel, em cima e em baixo.


Seventh : Like usual, put a very generous amount of mascara - on top and bottom lashes.


Ponha um batom claro ou nude para acompanhar esta maquilhagem. Use um blush que complemente a sua tez.


Wear this eye look with a light or nude lipstick. Also wear a blush that will complement your skin tone.
